As a former international Trade Specialist with the U.S. Department of Commerce, Neal has traveled the world promoting North Carolina and its products.<\/p>\n<p>His work establishing agent, distributor, importer, and retailer contacts took him to U.S. embassies and consulates in Canada, Mexico, Guatemala, Russia, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Japan, and more. Additionally, Neal served as the Director of the NC Furniture Export Office. During his service, he continued to travel the world and promote the high-end furniture and home furnishings that North Carolina is now known for.<\/p>\n<p>Happily married and reaching retirement, he looked around his home that was filled with unique antiques and furnishings.
